New playground for Ridgeview Elementary
✓ Verified organizer
Ridgeview Elementary's playground was built in 1998. Last spring the district safety audit failed the main structure — rusted supports, cracked surfacing, and a slide that's been roped off since October. 480 kids now share one small swing set at recess.
We're the parent-teacher association, and we've gotten quotes from three certified installers. The district will maintain the new playground, but it can't fund the build until 2028. Our kids can't wait three years.
Exactly where the money goes:
- $8,400 — playground equipment (structure, swings, ADA-accessible ramp)
- $4,500 — certified installation over fall break, so no lost recess days
- $7,100 — safety surfacing & site prep, released with our final report
Every dollar sits in the campaign's escrow contract until each step is done and documented — you can watch it move on the Escrow & milestones tab. Thank you for helping us get this built before winter.
Your donation goes into this campaign’s smart contract — not our bank account — and unlocks per milestone.
