The short version

· Donations go into a campaign's escrow contract — Donafi never holds your money.· Organizers must tell the truth and use funds as described. Milestones are enforced by contract.· Donations aren't purchases or investments — you're giving, not buying.· Break the rules and we remove the campaign; escrow refunds donors automatically.

1. What Donafi is

Donafi Inc. ("Donafi", "we") operates a crowdfunding platform where campaigns are funded through per-campaign smart-contract escrows on a public blockchain. We provide the software, review campaigns and milestone evidence, and coordinate payments — we are not a bank, a broker, a charity, or a party to the gift between donor and organizer.

2. Your account

You can sign in with email, a social account, or a crypto wallet. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and you must be at least 18 to organize a campaign. One person, one account — collecting accounts to manipulate campaigns is grounds for removal.

3. Donations, escrow & fees

Donations are gifts. They are converted (where needed) to USDC and deposited into the campaign's escrow contract at the moment of payment. Donafi charges campaigns a 0% platform fee; card processors charge their own fee (currently 2.9% + 30¢), and optional donor tips fund the platform. Crypto donations are final at network confirmation; exchange rates are locked at the moment of deposit.

4. Organizer obligations

Organizers must describe their cause truthfully, define milestones before funding opens, submit genuine evidence for each release, and use funds only as described. Payout requires a bank account or wallet verified by our payout partner. Misuse triggers campaign removal, automatic donor refunds from remaining escrow, and — where warranted — recovery action.

5. Refunds & the Giving Guarantee

The escrow contract refunds donors automatically when a campaign is cancelled, a milestone is rejected, or a campaign expires without proof. Refunds return by the original payment method. If funds were provably misused beyond what escrow can recover, Donafi refunds affected donors in full under the Giving Guarantee and pursues the organizer for recovery.

6. Crypto disclosure

Escrow balances are held in USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Blockchain transactions are irreversible and public by design. Donafi does not offer investments, yield, or tokens — any campaign promising financial return is prohibited and will be removed.

7. Liability

We work hard to keep Donafi safe — reviews, audits, open contracts — but we can't guarantee any campaign's outcome. To the extent the law allows, Donafi's liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the tips you've paid us in the past 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
